Republican gubernatorial candidate Byron Donalds continues his “Defending the Florida Dream” tour Monday and Tuesday and will make five stops near Interstate 10.
Three of them are on Monday.
His first stop is in Escambia County at Jerry’s Drive In in Pensacola at 8:30 a.m. Central time. U.S. Sen. Ashley Moody, CFO Blaise Ingoglia and state Rep. Michelle Salzman will also speak.
The bus next heads to Okaloosa County for a stop at Faith Independent Baptist Church in Niceville at 11 a.m. CDT, with Ingoglia and state Rep. Patt Maney.
From there, Donalds and Ingoglia will head to Eastern Shipbuilding Group in Panama City for a 2 p.m. CDT stop.
Tuesday offers two more opportunities to see Donalds. He will be at Bumpa’s Local 349 in Tallahassee at 10 a.m. Eastern time. Running mate Bryan Ávila, Republican Party of Florida Chair Evan Power, state Sen. Corey Simon and state Reps. Demi Busatta and Jason Shoaf will be on hand.
U.S. Rep. Kat Cammack will join the group, minus Power, at Brown Lantern in Live Oak at 1:15 p.m. EDT.
Democratic gubernatorial candidate David Jolly and running mate Gwen Graham are on their own bus tour this week.
The ticket will be, per the campaign, “rallying with supporters across the state and affirming a core message of their campaign: Together, Floridians are ready to trust in each other, believe in each other, and believe in better for Florida’s future.”
The kickoff is Oct. 26 in Pensacola at 6 p.m. CDT at the Seville Quarter. The campaign will make two stops the next day: one is at 11:30 a.m. CDT at the Panama City Garden Club; the other in Tallahassee at 5:30 p.m. EDT at the Parkview at Cascades.
From there, the campaign will be in Jacksonville and Gainesville on Oct. 28, DeLand and Orlando on Oct. 29 and The Villages, St. Petersburg and Tampa on Oct. 30.
On Oct. 31, Jolly and Graham will hit Pasco County and Sarasota. Miami is the Nov. 1 stop, followed by a final doubleheader in Palm Beach County and Wilton Manors Nov. 2.
The campaign promises that the “events will bring celebration, energy, unity, and the same focus that Jolly has brought to this campaign” since he launched in June 2025, “delivering real solutions for Floridians on housing, healthcare, education, and stopping data centers.”
