DeSantis,whohasthreeyoungchildren,wasadvocatingforthestatelegislaturetopassapermanentbanonCOVID-19vaccinemandatesinFlorida,assomeofthecurrentprotectionsaresettoexpireinJune.
“Itisabsolutelyridiculousandunconscionablethatatthispoint,withwhatweknowaboutthemRNACOVIDvaccine,andfrankly,whatwedon’tknowabouttheCOVIDmRNAvaccine,thattheCDCwouldstillputthison…theshot,stillontheirrecommendedvaccinelistforourchildren,”shesaid.
