What’s being built there? New 18-story condo tower with waterfront restaurant planned in Fort Lauderdale

A new building is planned near the Intracoastal in Fort Lauderdale: An 18-story tower that will have 129 condo homes, with highlights such as a roof deck, fire pit, spa and bar.

This real-estate feature from the South Florida Sun Sentinel highlights the latest plans for new construction as demand rises for more housing, offices and stores across the region. The location: 3000 Waterside is located at 3000 E. Oakland Park Blvd. in Fort Lauderdale at the southwest corner of the Intracoastal bridge. The project is named for both the address and the sweeping waterfront views, according to its Canadian-based developer, Claridge Homes.
