After northern Florida got snow, chilly weather now will hit some parts of southern Florida that’ll feel like it’s below freezing — all the way down to 29 degrees.
The coldest part of southern Florida this weekend will be the areas west and south of Lake Okeechobee: Forecasters are saying that LaBelle, halfway between Lake Okeechobee and Fort Myers, will be the coldest spot. Temperatures there will drop to 35 and the wind chill should get below freezing, dipping to 29 degrees.
